Tumblin Creek Arts and Sciences Festival

The Arts and Sciences Festival is HERE!

3:00pm - 6:00pm


Join P.K. Yonge students, families, faculty, staff and friends at the Annual Tumblin' Creek Arts and Sciences Festival!

Come and see the amazing visual art displays K-12, listen to the bands, watch students perform, see the Roaring Riptide Robot sling Frisbees, eat some pizza, enjoy the bake sale, and make a bid at the silent auction.  Art will be displayed in the elementary building, library, and the arts and sciences building (N-wing).  Look for the Roaring Riptide Robot in the gymnasium.

New to P. K. Yonge Kindergarten Students and Families...
  • 3:30 - 4:30:  Visit your new learning community, meet the teachers, and wander around the celebration.

STUDIO VISUAL ARTS

Take in the incredible artworks of P.K. Yonge students in the following locations:
  • Elementary Art—in the elementary building
  • Middle School Art—Art Building & Gallery
  • High School Art—Art Building & Gallery & Sidewalk
  • Art display in the Library
MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS
  • Rock Band groups: 3:00-6:00pm, outside the library in the lawn
  • Band Duets & Trios: inside the elementary building
  • Middle School & High School Performing Arts classes: 3:00-6:00pm, performing in the amphitheater next to the PAC 3:00-6:00 timeframe. 
  • Elementary Chorus & Violin Concert @ 6:00 in the PAC
 
ROARING RIPTIDE FIRST ROBOTICS TEAM #4118
  • Our robot will be demonstrating its Frisbee throwing skills in the GYMNASIUM
  • FUNDRAISING: Light bulbs will be on sale
 
FOOD AND FUNDRAISING
Enjoy pizza, baked goods, and drinks in the green space in front of cafeteria. See below for the list of consumables and other items and the groups you will be supporting with your purchases.

SUMMER CAMPS
  • Information about Summer Camps @ P. K. Yonge will be  set up on the north bank of the creek near the main sidewalk. Come by and take a look at all the great activities offered during summer on our campus. Flyers will be available at the festival, but you can also visit out Summer Camps page for more information.

    Opportunities include: Camp Blue Wave, FUNctional Mathematics, Fine Arts Summer Camp, Hands4Building, and more!
